Lilypad Pre-school (formerly known as the Church Hall Pre-school) is a member of a cluster group, consisting of similar groups in the village and surrounding area, including the local Infant School (with whom we are co-located). This enables us to share knowledge with other experienced practitioners and helps ensure a smooth transition for your child from Pre-school to early years education at “big” school.

The committee and staff organise social and fundraising events throughout the year to provide opportunities for parents to get involved with the Pre-school and to meet other parents. Examples include the annual Christmas Fair and Easter Egg Hunt. We also provide the opportunity for children to participate in our annual summer outing.

Costs

As we are an OFSTED approved group, this means that from the term after your child is 3, they are entitled to 15 hours of free care /education. Times

We currently open during term time for 5 mornings a week and 2 afternoons, however, this may increase depending on the demand for spaces.

Snacks are provided for the children during each session. Where children are
staying for lunch on Tuesday or Thursday they will need to bring their own packed lunch.

Please be aware that we only allow children to leave with a known (pre-notified) parent or carer.
